Currency Converter

Convert currencies using dated reference rates, with the amount calculated on your device.

Reference rates · amount stays local

A simpler way to use the currency converter

Multiply your amount by a dated Frankfurter reference rate. Only currency codes are sent to the rate endpoint; the entered amount is calculated locally. Rates are daily reference data and may predate weekends or holidays.

How it works

  1. Enter an amount and choose currencies.
  2. Request a rate and calculate the estimate.
  3. Check the rate date and allow for fees or provider spreads.

Your data stays with you.

Your selected currency codes are sent to our server, which requests reference rates from Frankfurter. Your amount stays in this browser. The provider does not receive your amount.

Frequently asked questions

Is this a live tradable exchange quote?

No. It is a dated reference estimate, excluding fees and spreads. If the rate service fails, the tool shows an error instead of inventing or silently reusing a rate.

Do I need an account?

No account or payment is required. File processing depends on browser capabilities and device memory; any tool-specific limits appear beside the inputs.
