A few useful answers.
The essentials about using this toolbox.
Are the tools free?
All available tools are free and do not require an account. Optional browser writing AI downloads about 1 GB; companion models can require several GB. AI tools show their hardware requirements before use.
Where do my images go?
Browser image tools process files directly on your device. Advanced AI image tools show a processing-location choice: local mode sends files only to this computer’s companion; cloud mode uploads them to the configured processor for an expiring private job. Downloaded files remain wherever you save them.
Can I use a phone?
The interface and browser tools support phones, tablets, and computers within their memory limits. Companion tools work on mobile only when secure cloud processing is configured; private local mode requires the desktop setup. Browser writing AI needs a compatible WebGPU device.
What do AI and PDF tools require?
Browser PDF edits run locally. Advanced document, media, and AI image tools use the companion on this computer, with up to 50 MB per file and 100 MB total. AI writing requires WebGPU and about 2 GB of GPU memory. Companion image generation uses the NVIDIA GPU and separately downloaded model weights. Tool forms describe their specific limits; prompts are not sent to hosted AI inference.
